Since October 2010, Mareike Weingärtner supports the Steinbeis Team North-East, especially in the area of international projects for regional SMEs .

The legal expert has been working since 2002 as a Project Coordinator in the field of international cooperation. She coordinated various projects with German and foreign chambers, associations and companies, predominantly in development and newly industrialising countries, but also in South-East and East-Europe, in order of German ministries, the European Commission and other national or international donors.

The action included consulting services for applicants, the filling of applications and the technical and financial handling. Focal points were SME-promotion and economic development in general.
