Katja Wolter studied Business Administration at the University of Applied Sciences Stralsund and John-Moores-University in Liverpool (England) from 1996 till 2000. Afterwards she worked for the international manufacturer of construction material Lafarge closed to Frankfurt (Main) as controller. 2002 she started working in the media branch with a job at ARD in Berlin. There she worked for six years as assistant to the administrative director of Rundfunk Berlin Brandenburg (rbb). In the beginning of 2008 she shifted her workplace to DEAG (Deutsche Entertainment AG), which is in Berlin as well, and worked as Director Finance and Controlling before she decided to take her doctoral degree at the Steinbeis-Hochschule Berlin. Since 2009, she worked in Sales & Service Research Center at the Steinbeis University Berlin. Among other tasks she developed the transfer-oriented Steinbeis-University-Magazine “Business+Innovation” (quarterly published by the Gabler-Verlag since 04/2010).

Katja is supporting the Steinbeis-Team-Northeast since 2011. Here she is responsible for the supervision of projects for companies in the Baltic Sea Region. She is also a lecturer in the Department of Economics at the University of Applied Sciences in Stralsund.
